When Nehemiah was inspired to go to Jerusalem to rebuild the broken walls of the city, he rallied the people to join in this effort. They faced not only the difficulties of the work itself, but also the attempts of the surrounding tribes to thwart their success. Through it all, with Nehemiah’s leadership, they accomplished this great work. This valuable example of collective strength and resolve is useful to us today, as we stand together to face our joint challenges.
