When the children of Israel stood at the Red Sea, with the Egyptians at their backs, God instructed Moses to lift up his rod, part the waves, and “Speak to the children of Israel, that they go forward.”  (Exodus 14:15)  It’s safe to say that most days our lives are not as dramatic.  But how often have we apathetically looked at our lives and said it’s impossible to be better, or live better, or be healthy?  Hear God’s command, go forward!  Divine Love’s expectation for you is blessedness and harmony.  Lift your eyes to see this promise, take the inspiration you have at hand, and move forward with courage to claim your heritage as God’s beloved child.  The Reading Room calls us to raise our expectations to accept the good that is ours during September.
