Are we watching our thought? Are we being alert to false suggestions? Mrs. Eddy says in Science and Health, “We must look where we would walk, and we must act as possessing all power from Him in whom we have our being.” (SH 264:10) This passage can be applied metaphorically and literally. If we are not consistently purifying our thought, tossing out limiting perceptions of ourselves, we could find our lives going awry as well as our physical ability to move compromised. Hebrews tells us, “…make straight paths for your feet, lest that which is lame be turned out of the way, but let it rather be healed .” (Heb. 12:13) Be watchful that your mental paths are straight, headed Godward, and see any condition that would confine your progress healed. We are studying the topic of movement this month at the Reading Room’s request.
