Mary Baker Eddy, the Discover and Founder of Christiam Science, dealt with adversarial behavior throughout her life. She always approached these issues by trusting God. In First Church of Christ, Scientist, and Miscellany, she gives an example of her constant prayer. “Each day I pray, “God bless my enemies; make them Thy friends; give them to know the joy and peace of love.” (Miscellany p. 220:21) This remarkable declaration of love for her fellowman ushered in the resolution of many situations that seemed to be unsolvable.
