Mary Baker Eddy, the Discoverer and Founder of Christian Science, lived a life based on trust in and obedience to, God.  She navigated many difficult situations throughout her life with unparalleled grace, based on her confidence that God’s protection was present for her as she put her hand in God’s hand. This simple sentence from The First Church of Christ Scientist and Miscellany, one of her books, captures her view of God’s steadfastness, “Trust in Him whose love enfolds thee.”  (p. 290:13-14).  Let us also feel this strong conviction that God’s love enfolds us as we move through our days.  The vast power of trusting in God’s love is our prayer topic for December.
